About us

Started by Gabriel Santoro in 1964 and later joined by his wife and seamstress Antonietta, they worked side by side providing good service and workmanship to their client in the greater Torrington area.

After Gabriel and Antonietta’s two sons joined the company in 1990, the mom and pop shop became a growing corporation. Guy and Daniel Santoro continually learned everything there is to learn about the textile care industry, being members of Fabricare groups, networking with other operators across the county, adding services and equipment and having trained staff.  From our humble beginnings, hard work and skills have made us the company we are today and will take us into the future.

Santoro’s has grown with two modern processing plants, a staff of over 45 and 11 delivery vehicles ready to serve you our client.

Having the ability to clean countless items with environmentally friendly cleaning solvents or in computer-controlled wet cleaning machines or by hand cleaning an item which is a lost art, we apply our skills every day in order to satisfy our clients.

Now with the third generation of Santoros in the company, our family will continue to provide you with the level of service and workmanship you have come to expect from us.
